WHLI alumni are making a positive difference in the community through board service and volunteerism. Every day our alumni are continuing the legacy of The West Houston Leadership Institute, by making West Houston an even better place to live, grow, and work.

Sarah Cain (Class of 2016) Owner, Sarah’s Florist, Board Chair for the Houston West Chamber of Commerce.

Geoffrey Castro (Class of 2015), Program Manager in Corporate Community Relations with Center Point Energy, recently appointed President of the Corporate Community Relations Council (CCRC) and an advisory board member with the Katy Prairie Conservancy.

Jennifer Parker (Class of 2017) leads a select group of elementary and secondary schools as one of three community superintendents for the Spring Branch Independent School District. Jennifer recently joined the Board of Directors of Newspring, Inc, a nonprofit serving at-risk populations in Spring Branch.

Ignacio Pujol, (Class of 2005), Executive Bank Office President, Allegiance Bank, is on the board and a member of the Executive Committee of the Spring Branch Community Health Clinic. He is also on the board of directors for The West Houston Leadership Institute.
