Jeannie Bollinger is the former President and CEO of the Houston West Chamber of Commerce (HWCOC). In this role, she was responsible for developing member programming, growing the chamber’s membership base, and directing administrative operations for the chamber, which serves more than 800 members in the West Houston area.
Bollinger’s 25 years of experience as a counselor and communications professional paved the way for her executive role with the HWCOC, earning a firm reputation for building relationships with the business community and increasing the chamber’s membership by 36 percent since 2003. Due to her commitment to help businesses succeed and her talent for facilitating professional collaboration, she was named one of the “Top 50 Most Influential Women in Houston” by Houston Woman Magazine in January of 2014 and the HWCOC is recognized as one of the top eight chambers in Houston by the Houston Business Journal in 2018.
Prior to working for the HWCOC, Bollinger further honed her leadership skills as Manager of Administration at AquaSource, a Houston-based water utility company. She also spent 18 years working in a variety of roles for the ESCAPE Family Resource Center in Houston, including as Associate Director, where she gained valuable experience in volunteer management and fundraising.
She continues to serve on several boards, including: the HCA Gulf Coast Division Advisory Board; the HCA Healthcare West Board of Directors; HCC Alief West Houston Business Community Steering Committee, and is an emeritus member and founder of the West Houston Leadership Institute. She is also the founder along with Sarah Cain of the HWCOC’s Women Driving Business Committee, the largest fundraising committee of the Chamber.
Ms. Bollinger formerly served on the Houston Westchase PAC, Westchase District Advisory Council; the Spring Branch ISD Partners in Education Board; and the Business Development Advisory Board of American InterContinental University.
She holds a master’s degree in Counselor Education from Florida International University in Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Pembrook.
