Heather Camfield Named WHLI Executive Director

Heather Camfield

Heather’s background is in non-profit management and development, and in public policy – she’s served as executive director of Westside Homeless Partnership, worked in public policy for Children at Risk and was director of development at Interfaith Ministries. She’s worked with Catholic Charities and several other non-profits as well.

She is a graduate of Leadership Houston and is an inaugural member of the P-16 West Houston Council. Heather has a bachelor’s degree in English from Texas A&M, a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of St. Thomas, and most recently earned a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas.

Heather is a West Houston native and lives in the Memorial/Spring Branch area with her husband, son, and daughters, where she’s active in her daughters’ school and scouting activities.
